HOW TO FIND US

FROM M74 (SOUTH): Exit at junction 10 follow sign B7078 Coalburn until you come to sign on left for B7018 Lanark, turn left at Brockets Brae. After approximately 5miles ‘KIRKFIELD MAINS’ is signposted on the right hand side. If you miss this sign turn right at road end, then follow sign at end of Kirkfieldbank village, turning right at the telephone box you will see our sign which is located on the lamp post. Follow the road keeping right at all times, as you drive up the hill, you will come to a grey house on your left hand side with traffic cones on it's perimeter, turn right here. This will take you along a single track road, you will pass cream house ("Kirkfield Lodge")on your right, take the next right at the white cottage ("west gate cottage") and continue to the end of the driveway where you will find Kirkfield Mains.

FROM M74 (NORTH): Exit at junction 7 A72 towards Lanark. Continue on A72 for approximately 10miles. Travel through the village of Kirkfieldbank and at the end of the village turn right at telephone box, this is where you will see the  sign for ‘KIRKFIELD MAINS' this sign is located on the lamp post. Follow the road round keeping right at all times for approx. 3/4 of a mile, as you drive up the hill, you will come to a grey house on your left hand side with traffic cones on it's perimeter, turn right here. This will take you along a single track road, you will pass cream house ("Kirkfield Lodge") on your right, take the next right at the white cottage "west gate cottage" and continue to the end of the driveway where you will find Kirkfield Mains.

FROM LANARK: Drive through Lanark heading on the Clyde Valley Tourist Route for A72 Hamilton. At village end take a left forA72 Hamilton, go down steep hill and turn left after bridge. ’KIRKFIELD MAINS’  sign is on your left hand side, which is located on the lamp post .Follow the road keeping right at all times, as you drive up the hill for approx.3/4 mile, you will come to a grey house on your left hand side with traffic cones on it's perimeter, turn right here. This will take you along a single track road, you will pass cream house ("Kirkfield Lodge")on your right, take the next right at the white cottage "west gate cottage" and continue to the end of the driveway where you will find Kirkfield Mains.

FROM  GLASGOW AIRPORT: Head east M8 Edinburgh.  Travelling approx 15 miles exit at junction signposted M73 Carlisle and keep left onto to M74 Carlisle. Exit at junction 7 A72 towards Lanark. Continue on A72 for approximately 10miles. Travel through the village of Kirkfieldbank and at the end of the village turn right at telephone box, this is where you will see the  sign for ‘KIRKFIELD MAINS’ on the lamp post.   Follow the road keeping right at all times, as you drive up the hill for approx.3/4 mile you will come to a grey house on your left hand side with traffic cones on it's perimeter, turn right here. FROM PRESTWICK AIRPORT: Follow signs for A71Edinburgh until you pick up signs for Lanark. Follow signs for A72 Lanark and once you enter Kirkfieldbank you will see our signs for 'KIRKFIELD MAINS' on the lamp post at the village end .Turn right at telephone box. Follow the road keeping right at all times, as you drive up the hill for approx.3/4 mile , you will come to a grey house on your left hand side with traffic cones on it's perimeter, turn right here. This will take you along a single track road, you will pass cream house ("Kirkfield Lodge") on your right, take the next right at the white cottage "west gate cottage" and continue to the end of the driveway where you will find Kirkfield Mains.

FROM EDINBURGH AIRPORT: On leaving the airport turn left & follow signs for Edinburgh city bypass. Turn right at large roundabout South Gyle & still following signs for city bypass bear left. Follow signs for A71 Kilmarnock & shortly you will pick up signs for Lanark. Drive through Lanark and follow sign for the Clyde Valley Tourist Route and A72 Hamilton turning left and drive down steep hill. After crossing bridge turn left at the telephone box where you will see our signs for ‘KIRKFIELD MAINS’ on the lamp post.   Follow the road keeping right at all times, as you drive up the hill for approx.3/4 mile , you will come to a grey house on your left hand side with traffic cones on it's perimeter, turn right here. This will take you along a single track road, you will pass cream house ("Kirkfield Lodge") on your right, take the next right at the white cottage "west gate cottage" and continue to the end of the driveway where you will find Kirkfield Mains.
